Public Holidays in Thailand (2017)

I don't know why people don't know how to call public holidays in Thailand correctly.
Here is the list of the correct English name of the public holidays
  1. Jan 1 - New Year's Day (วันขึ้นปีใหม่)
  2. Feb 11 - Magha Puja (มาฆบูชา) - usually see Makhabucha, Makabucha, etc
  3. Apr 6 - Chakri Memorial Day (วันจักรี) - usually see Chakkri Day (in fact, Chakkri is RTGS standard for Chakri)
  4. Apr 13-15 - Songkran Festival Day (วันสงกรานต์) - some people add 't', making it Songkrant
  5. May 1 - Labour Day [UK] or Labor Day [US] (วันแรงงาน)
  6. May 5 - Coronation Day (วันฉัตรมงคล)
  7. May 10 - Vesak Day (วันวิสาขบูชา) - usually see Wisakabucha, Visakabucha, etc
  8. Jul 8 - Asalha Puja Day (วันอาสาฬหบูชา) - usually see Asanlahabucha, Asanhabucha, etc
  9. Aug 12 - H.M. Queen Sirikit's Birthday (วันเฉลิมฯ)
  10. Oct 23 - Chulalongkorn Memorial Day (วันปิยมหาราช)
  11. Dec 5 - H.M. King Bhumibol's Birthday (วันเฉลิมฯ)
  12. Dec 10 - Constitution Day (วันรัฐธรรมนูญ)
  13. Dec 31 - New Year's Eve (วันสิ้นปี)
